First Report Card and First School Photo

Actually, Prince had one report card from Grandma when he was about one. He was graded on sharing food with Mommy and looking cute in pictures. And, as you know, he has had plenty of school photos.

This is only his first official report card and his first official school photo.

Report card:

Dear Parents,

[Prince] started the year well with no problems settling in to school. [Prince] plays alongside other children well. He is slowly starting to build relationships through gestures and talking with other students.

[Prince]
likes sharing toys with his friends; in fact, he welcomes anyone to come and play with him. Out in the playground [Prince] enjoys riding the bicycles and feeding the rabbits.

He especially enjoys story time and one-on-one chat. If it is a book he is familiar with I will encourage him to tell me what is going to happen next or he will point out characters in the book.

[Prince] is a quiet and reserved pupil who has benefited much from being around the other students. He has an outstanding ability with numbers and letters; he is able to count in English and Turkish. He can tell me any letter I point to.

Next semester we will work toward being more independent and practice using scissors and pre-writing skills e.g. dot-to-dot and tracing simple shapes. We will work on speaking more clearly and feeling more comfortable expressing himself.

[Prince] is a polite and friendly child. I look forward to seeing him each day.

I can’t wait to see the great progress we will make in the next semester.

Keep up the good work [Prince]!
