Lucky dog! Prince had his birthday party on Sunday, brought cookies to school on Wednesday for his actual birthday, and then had a school party on Friday!
We were invited to his school party and got to see how he played with his friends.
We could see that he’s still adjusting to preschool. He participated in the activities for awhile, but then wanted to do something else. We realized that we need to practice keeping him on one activity for a while (maybe 20-30 minutes) before switching, and involving him in more dancing and follow-the-leader kinds of games. We have already reduced him to half-day because of the continued reports of him struggling during the Turkish-intensive afternoons. He seems much happier now that he is able to nap in his own room, and then play with the Royal Nanny and Princess until we get home.
But there was no question that he is well liked at the school. He got hugs (and some kisses) from all of his classmates, and he melted all the teachers’ hearts when he blew them a kiss as we left.
