I’ve been scolded (well, “asked”) by several people why I haven’t included any recent photos or posts about Sweet Pea.
The answer? I’m not doing a very good job of keeping my promise to take as many pictures of each child as I did with my first.
That, and I just hate to wake her up when I finally get her to sleep.
So when we’re out and about, creating memories with Prince and Princess, Sweet Pea is dreaming in the Snugli, and I just can’t bring myself to take her out to get a picture with the pumpkins. And when she is awake, I have no hands.
I do apologize to you, and to Sweet Pea most of all. She will make regular appearances on the blog from now on.
Aside from waking up once in the night, she gets us up between 5 and 6 every day for a morning storytelling session. The only thing she wants to do is smile and coo at us for almost an hour before succumbing to sleep again, right when the other two wake up. It’s a special time to listen to her sweet voice, watch her cheeks lift up when she grins, and look into her warm, trusting blue eyes.
