Flowers for … Me?

ladyherndon Colorado, Home

Okay, I’m going to break a few of my rules about using real names on our blog, but I think it’ll be okay. The only people who read this blog are the ones who know my real name anyway, so here goes.

I Googled my name.

I got the idea from my sister, who is the first result of her own Googling. I just wanted to see what would happen.

What happened was I found a very strange story about a lady with my name, who drowned in a creek in 1863 on her way to the McKay home. MacKay is Lord Herndon’s Scottish clan name. So there is a mysteriously tended grave in Texas of a woman with my name who died on her way to see a family with my husband’s name.

Kind of … creepy.

Anyone want to go with me to see if the grave is really there?
