Fun with the Gillins!
After making gingerbread houses out of graham crackers:
Playing lightsabers:
Keeping the babies from kissing:
And taking a bath:
We decided we hadn’t had enough fun yet, and needed to go meet the Man in Red.
Well, maybe we had too much fun. I apologized to “Mrs. Claus” for the drama, and she said, “You’d be surprised how often this happens!”
Indeed, while we were in the next room where they had free cookies and hot chocolate for the kids, we heard several more families move through the line to meet Santa Claus, and about 2/3 of the kids started bawling.
Maybe he’s not all he’s cracked up to be?
Well, Connor told me he had already met the REAL Santa Claus: at the Park Meadows Mall in Denver.
