Preschool Update: Egyptian Unit Final Exam

ladyherndon Colorado, Home

Prince has been very interested in Egypt for awhile now. He loves the story of Moses and never goes to the park without his “Moses Stick,” which he uses to part the Red Sea, throws it on the ground where it turns into a snake, and hits a rock with it to get water. We were also praying extensively for Egypt during the protests, so he had that country on his mind.

I couldn’t let a teaching opportunity like this go to waste, so I inundated him with Egypt. We watched The Mummy, played with Egypt Legos, build pyramids out of Legos, wrote his name in hieroglyphics, read books about Egypt, sang Egyptian songs, and learned about Egyptian heroes and heroines.

After all of that, it was time for the final exam. I already knew that Prince could talk the talk, but I needed to see if he could … walk the walk.

You know where this is headed, don’t you?
