Summer time in Colorado means thunderstorms almost every afternoon.
One day when I was trying to get Princess down for her nap, she was clinging to me and crying. I asked her what was wrong and she said: “I’m scared because the white lights are shooting at me. You need to go outside and turn them off.”
One of those things kids say that you never want to forget.
I told her that the lightning was just God taking pictures of her, and all of the clouds were making it dark so He had to use His flash.
That made her stop and think.
