Happy Birthday, little Prince!
This is the year without parties, so we asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate his big day. He said 1. go to the LEGO store, 2. go to IKEA and get ice cream, 3. feed ducks and play at a park, 4. eat at Red Robin, and 5. go to Uncle Scott’s house. (Apparently Uncle Scott’s house is a Denver attraction!)
We did all of those things with our family in Denver, except for IKEA. All three kids fell asleep in the car on the way there, and it just didn’t seem fair to wake them up and go all the way into that warehouse, just for soft serve ice cream. But now we have to make it up to him and make sure we do it next time.
He was one happy little guy, but I think most boys would have been happy with the amount of Transformers, LEGOs, and Star Wars gear that he got!
