Theo is such a different kind of boy than Alex is. Anyone who knows them both would agree. Alex is more sensitive, creative, a deep-thinker, question-asker, and computer hacker. Theo is a rough-and-tumble, get dirty, cars-trucks-planes-trains kind of boy. So while karate is really good for Alex, Theo needs something a bit more intense. Soccer seemed the way to go since it is so universal and we plan to go overseas again soon, so we signed him up for the preschool league at the local YMCA.
He did have some trouble when a teammate got confused and started using Theo’s ball instead of his own. I don’t know how Theo remembered which one was his because they look the same to me! But he did.
Good thing they don’t have these little guys playing any games with only one ball yet. That would be a mess!
He had his official soccer photo taken so I’m excited to put that up with the kids’ school pictures when it comes in.
