Happy Birthday to my sweet squidge, Theodore Luke! He loves the Flash, so even though the lightning bolts on this costume stick out like elf ears, he’s ready to celebrate his special day!
This is no-party year, so we went swimming at the outdoor pool (Wilson Ranch) in the morning and then rollerskating at Skate City later that day.
He was very concerned the next morning that he wasn’t four anymore, and for the next few weeks in fact I had to keep reassuring him that he was still four.
Mike and I had a lot of fun rollerblading with the kids at Skate City, so I suggested to him that we should do it again for our anniversary that coming Monday. He was leaving for the end-of-summer lake party for his lawn care job the next day, and then with the teens from our church for their youth group mission trip to Nebraska over the weekend. You’ll see in a few posts why my suggestion didn’t exactly pan out!
