I actually can’t believe I am able to write this, but after flying to England, where we will be celebrating Christmas with the Pauls, our joint families flew to Iceland for 4 days. I feel so blessed that we are at a time in our lives where traveling to Iceland is an achievable reality.
We spent our first day looking around Reykjavik, spending a fortune on a simple dinner (everything we heard about Iceland being so expensive is completely true!) and being impressed by our beautiful Airbnb.

We learned later that this is the Icelandic Yule Cat who eats naughty children! 
Like two peas in a pod, Penny and Emmy were best friends the entire trip. 
Evelyn and JP enjoyed quietly reading together as often as possible.
