On our last day of Winter Break, we headed downtown to see how Ukrainians celebrate Orthodox Christmas. It was a beautifully cold, crisp day with huge, crystalline flakes floating down. We spent the day in Saint Sophia’s Square and heard the mass being spoken over the speakers and the bells chiming as we wandered through the Christmas market.
