After a wonderful week of staying with us at my uncle’s house and blessing me every day with her help, patience, and company, my mom baptized Sweet Pea in a pond at Redstone Park. Witnesses present were our family, Uncle Scott, and the ducks.
As she was getting into her car to drive home, I offered her a job as a live-in Child Care Provider. I was having vivid memories of going grocery shopping with the kids by myself. I don’t think I have ever left Sunflower Market without somebody screaming and the cashiers saying “Wow, you sure have your hands full!”
She said she would think about it.
