We are thankful that we are back in the States and can spend holidays with our families.
We are thankful that we have a beautiful house where we can host get-togethers and dinners, and where we can enjoy our favorite foods again. (boy, we missed sweet potatoes!)
We are thankful that Lady Herndon is home with the kids during the day and can share many moments with them that she would otherwise miss.
We are thankful that Lord Herndon has a job he enjoys at a school full of friendly, supportive staff.
We are thankful that we were able to run a 5k Thanksgiving morning, to earn the right to eat the feast night.
We are thankful that we got to have three Thanksgivings.
One with Lord Herndon’s family the Saturday before.
One with Lady Herndon’s brother and his family, her mother, and her uncle.
And one with Lady Herndon’s aunt and her family, her mother, and her uncle.
For all that we have, we give thanks.
