Isn’t it so true that kids say the funniest things?
Prince has a remote control Transformers Bumble Bee car, and it says in a very intimidating voice, “Total annihilation.” So Prince goes around saying, “Total annihilation. Total annihilation.”
Princess, not to be outdone, says, “Turtle nation.”
Then there is a song by Sanctus Real called “Lead Me.” Here are some of the lyrics:
“Lead me with strong hands
Stand up when I can’t
Don’t leave me hungry for love
Chasing dreams, but what about us?
Show me you’re willing to fight
That I’m still the love of your life
I know we call this our home
But I still feel alone”
Prince sings at the top of his lungs, “Lead me! With strong hands! Stand up! When I can’t! Don’t leave me hungry for LUNCH!”
I told him once that it was “love,” not “lunch,” but he insisted that he had it right.
Then Princess, when she wants to play, tosses a car in your lap and asks, “Play cars me?” or a crayon and a coloring book and says, “Color me?”
