Sorry. Mommy is having a hard time with this one. Yesterday, he looked like this:
Today, he is a young man.
Look at those eyes! He knows. He knows so much.We had a great teaching moment today. He received $10 from Grandma Beth and Papa Steve, and so we were able to take him to the toy store and let him find whatever he wanted that he could afford. Alex headed straight to the Lego aisle, of course. He had several options, but he bee-lined for the airplane and paid for it himself, even the change for the tax.
This airplane is in addition to the Lego sets that we had already given him (the rest of the Legos from my own childhood). Does this look like the face of a child who will sleep tonight? Not with those in his room in arm’s reach.
