On Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day. our church hosted a Mother/Daughter/Women Luncheon. This included all women (since we are all daughters, after all) and was one of the events that are meant to kick-start the Women’s Ministry in our small church. There is a significant lack in this area, and if it were developed, it could make a positive impact on our growth.
This was the first time I have ever done something special with just the girls. We got all dolled up in our Easter outfits, I actually managed to “French braid” (I use that term very loosely) Princess’ hair, and we had a delightful lunch together.
