The other day, I got a wild hair. I just decided to cut Princess’ wispies off in another attempt to make her hair thicker.
Well, it needed a professional correction.
So a special day was accidentally created for Princess: her first salon haircut.
Unlike Prince, I didn’t need to hold her strait-jacket style in the chair. She sat there calmly, chatting away with the stylist and pretty much reveling in her time in the spotlight.
Oh, and her dress? Yeah, it was a dollar. One dollar! I found it at an estate sale at the Paris Street Market in Denver one Saturday, when my friend Carrie and I made very elaborate plans to take off for the day and visit Denver Fabrics, the Street Market, and … IKEA. Yes, it was a glorious day. But anyway, this dress is so incredibly cute that I am going to offer versions of it in my Etsy store. I will have to charge more than a dollar, though.
