My sister brought her kids down today to visit Garden of the Gods park with us, since her oldest son, Hunter, had written a report about it in school. They spent the whole day with us and it was wonderful to be able to catch up.
Leave it to Mike to find a way to “hike” Garden of the Gods with a broken foot! He even helped “carry” Theo when he got too tired to walk up the hill back to our car!
This is my little niece Prestley Jo, born on my mom’s birthday and named after her ( middle name). She’s the youngest of my mom’s 12 grandchildren.
She sure enjoyed Mike’s undivided attention when he sat down to rest his leg back at the house!
