Halloween 2017

ladyherndon Colorado, Home

This year, not only did the closing of my Etsy store free up my creativity for the kids’ costumes, but we also went to a Fall Festival on Sunday afternoon, when the weather was sunny and warm and I had plenty of time to get everyone ready and take great pictures outside before we left. It was perfect! I’m going to make that a habit, because it was so much nicer than speed-dressing after school and making the antsy kids stand for pictures outside when they’d much rather be trick-or-treating.

I made the older kids’ costumes, but Theo wanted to be Iron Man (and Spider-Man another day), so we just used what we had.

Alas, I didn’t have time to make a costume for myself and Mike, but he threw together a pirate costume to partake in the fun.

Happy Halloween to you and yours! May your night be full of tricks and treats.
