Daddy Daughter Dance and Mommy/Son Date Night

ladyherndon Colorado, Home

One of our favorite traditions is the annual Daddy Daughter Dance at our local YMCA! This year the theme was Barnyard Dance but the girls opted not to match the theme and chose a more elegant ballgown look for their dresses instead. I worked many late nights on these and was so happy that they were happy!

Mike got a lot of compliments on his matching Lego bow tie! He always has so much fun showing our girls how a boy should take them on a date and treat them like a lady, when they are much much older of course!

This year, we planned ahead and all had dinner together earlier in the evening so that the girls could have real food before the dance. The boys usually take me out for dinner but funds were tight so we used a coupon at Baskin Robbins instead and then went to seeĀ Sing at the Dollar Theater. All told, our half of the date night cost less than $10! And we had an absolute blast.

Look at how tall Alex is getting! He’ll be able to take me dancing here soon.
