Fresh Fruit for Breakfast Dress (New Look 6301)

ladyherndon Saw That, Sew This

I whipped up this beauty on my overnight stay with my mom a few weeks ago. We had a sewing binge and watched movies and talked while each of us worked on our projects. Hers was a Lincoln quilt block, and mine was this fabulous faux wrap dress. I appreciate that the skirt is complete so that I have no fears of wardrobe malfunctions, while still enjoying the casual chic look of the wrap top and tie. And ever since I found this beautiful blue knit with white confetti, red flowers, and small yellow berries, I have been dying to make it into something. It makes me think of fresh fruit so I went with that. This is so comfortable and breezy, I absolutely love it! I’m excited to use this pattern and its variations to make some more knit wrap dresses.
