2017 Sewing Review

Well, 2017 was full of surprises and unexpected challenges, but I also learned a lot and became much more comfortable in my own skin. What’s funny is that I had the exact same amount of completed projects in 2016, even down to the number of dresses! So here are my 48 makes (not including what I made for my Etsy store and the kids):

I tried my hand at adding someĀ oomph to my shoes for the first time this year. I wore these sandals all the time over the summer.

I made three jumpsuits this year. Still trying to figure out the fit on these and I want to make more, but one jumpsuit at a time.

I worked hard to make myself focus on separates and not just dresses this year. I made 10 tops:

I made 7 skirts:

I set myself the goal of sewing jeans for the first time this year. I liked them so much, I made 6 total!

I made three other pants as well. One was a pair of joggers, and two were trousers:

I made 18 dresses this year:
