One more thought for today…
Who ever calls it “Joann”?!
That’s the true name of the store. J-O-A-N-N. It makes no sense. It is a name. If it is a name, it should be possessive. As in, her store. Joann’s Store. Joann’s. Everyone I know calls it Joann’s. I can’t even say “I went to Joann today” without cringing. Heck, I can’t even type it without cringing!
My four-year-old calls it “Joy-ann’s.” Love it.
