Once upon a time, my friend Carrie and I made a trip to Denver (alone! I KNOW!!!) and enjoyed perusing through the wide selection they offered. One irresistible sale was of crepe, and I bought this wonderful teal while Carrie bought a salmon pink. This was, I am sad to say, two summers ago. It took me For.Ev.Er. to get these dresses finally sewed. Carrie looks fabulous in hers, and I like mine a lot too, but it took awhile to fit into it again after having baby #4.
The thing about this crepe was that it was very stretchy and so I had to take inches in around the zipper. So it’s hard to tell what size I should sew the next time I use this pattern.
And isn’t my necklace neat?! I saw the pendants at Hobby Lobby and knew I had to get them. I just attached the links of the chain in the right lengths and voila! I got a lot of comments at church on it.
The end.
