Keyhole to My Heart Dresses (McCall’s 6238)

ladyherndon Saw That, Sew This

My girls have been wanting pretty dresses just like Mommy, so I made each of them a cotton dress with a keyhole cutout in the back. They loved them! Penny wore hers so much that the vintage fabric in the skirt started to come apart.

So I wasn’t very good at taking pictures of my projects at the beginning. This is a bit of a catch-up post. I took these pictures of Penny wearing her dress in April of 2013. She was almost three.

And I took these pics of Evelyn wearing hers in April 2016. She was 7. Hers was a bit roomy at first, so it’s incredible she wore it for three years and it still fit. And now, Penny’s wearing it!
