One thing I knew I needed this autumn were a good pair of thick, opaque black leggings, for all those great autumn outfits. I don’t wear leggings very often (except to work out!) and the only black RTW ones I could bring myself to buy were still a bit too see-through for my comfort level. So I knew when I found this great, thick ponte knit at Joann’s that I used for my navy pencil skirt, I would also be using the black for several things.
I wanted leggings with a bit of style, so I used McCall’s 7261 with it’s diagonal seams again. This time, I chopped 5″ off the bottom. Now they’re short enough for flats and ankle boots.
So fun to twin with Penny (6) today! She absolutely loved it.
She’s a more natural model than me, I think.
