Pleated Metallic Skirt (self-drafted)

I’ve talked before about Eric Bunker and how she inspired me to sew more trendy clothes and embrace fashion that I can make for myself. She showed on her IG this wonderful metallic pre-pleated fabric from Hobby Lobby, and how she sewed a seam up the back and made the easiest-ever skirt that’s very popular right now. I did a quick search on Pinterest and she was so right.

Once I used the 40% off coupon, and even though I had to buy one yard minimum, this turned into a super cheap skirt. I even have enough leftover to make a skirt for one of the girls.

Of course, I had to make it harder than it needed to be. I added pockets.

I used the nude-colored lining fabric from my Grandma’s Stash. I swear she had about 10 yards of it because I’ve used it on so many things already.

Rockin’ it with my black ponte Vogue 1465 sleeveless turtleneck and my $10 thrift store “leather” jacket.
