Panache with Care Short Sleeve Top in Cranberry (Vogue 1465)

ladyherndon Saw That, Sew This

I made this shirt awhile ago, back in December, and actually had cut it out not long after I sewed my first version of Vogue 1465, the black sleeveless turtleneck here. Despite having worn it many times, I have only just now taken photos.

This time I used some super-soft cranberry knit from my Grandma’s Stash (perfectly sized remnant for this project) and I added cap sleeves from New Look 6735. The sleeves were also perfectly sized to match with the Vogue 1465 armholes. It was a match made in heaven and I love the way it looks! I also remembered how tall the collar was, so I cut it half as tall this time. Much more comfortable for me!

Wearing my favorite long sparkly feather necklace.

I’m actually working on Etsy orders right now, but I did take some time to organize my cut-out projects and fabric/pattern matched projects, and Holy Cow. I have a huge pile to work through this year. And that’s not even counting the ones I haven’t finalized yet!

At the very least, I’ll have tons of choices for Me Made May 2017!
